Korres Yoghurt Face Cream Review

I believe we all have a phase in our life when we try all the face creams when can until one finally works well with our skin. Some face creams were moisturizing enough but just too greasy and to be honest, felt too icky for me. Others were too thin and didn't really do much moisturizing my dry skin. I guess you could say I felt like Goldilocks trying out different face creams. Finally, one day, I tried a sample of Korres Yoghurt Cream and voila, it was perfection. Initially, I was skeptical that Korres Yoghurt Cream wouldn't be the fit for me because it's intentionally made for combination/oily skin. But upon a weeks worth of trying this out, I've realized that I'd finally found the one.

According to Sephora's Website:
What it is:
A daily moisturizing cream formulated with real greek yogurt to soothe and nourish skin.

What it does:
Greek yogurt is an ancient healing remedy that goes back hundreds of years. In Greece, yogurt is known for its ability to instantly soothe the skin by delivering increased moisture.

The Greek Yoghurt Moisturizing Face Cream contains full-fat, greek yogurt—a natural source of proteins, vitamins, and minerals to nourish and provide instant hydration to dry skin. It also contains vitamin E, olive oil concentrate, and macadamia nuts for antioxidant protection. This nourishing cream can be used every day as a part of your daily skin routine.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Phthalates
Formula
The formula is a slightly runny, but not too thin. It's thin enough that it melts into your skin quite nicely without the heavy feeling of clogged pores. The cream is a solid opaque white color and consistent with its formula. It doesn't separate into different consistencies as some other creams do.

Moisture
I absolutely love how this moisturizes my dry skin. It just melts into it without causing any excess shine. Also, the moisture lasts throughout the day without the need for reapplication. I've also never experienced the cream breaking me out. Interestingly enough, I've read in other's reviews from people who had acne, saying that they saw a reduction in acne after using this product. I can't really vouch for this as I don't really break out unless my periods coming up. But other than that, I really love how well it works.

Overall
I'd have to say this is a very great moisturizer and I hope that Korres never ever discontinues it. Even if they did, I wouldn't be able to stock up as this moisturizer is free of parabens, so it wont' last quite as long in storage. So yeah, Korres, (if you're reading this) please don't ever D/C this. I'm a fan for life! This cream is $32.00 and available at your local Sephora or Korresusa.com or Korres.com for international buyers. I think it's definitely worth the price. One jar usually lasts me about 4-6 months.

  2. Oooh! Lol that's funny that you mentioned that because I actually recommended it in the other comment! Yeah it is pretty small... I'll tell you what I do to get the discount at Sephora. Okay, so you buy it around October-Nov (whenever their 20% off coupon pops up.) Then you use it and it lasts me about 6 months. I'd imagine it would last people 4 months though, but it always lasts me 6 months. Come April, there is another Sephora discount for about 15% off. And that's how I always get this discounted. xDDDDD

  3. I have a few korres lip butters and they are my absolute favourite! Man, these cosmetics companies really know how to market by incorporating food with makeup/skincare!

  4. I've heard great things about those lip butters! I'm so surprised I don't own a single one considering how many times I've almost bought one. Haha, yeah they really do know how to market. I heard that can apparently be used a mask as well.

  7. Aww thanks Bobbie! :D I use a Sony DSLR alpha100. I'm currently saving up for a new one though. Possibly a Cannon EOS. But right now, I'm really liking this camera. So I might just save that money. And, lol I do give a lot of credit to google photography tutorials. Just look through my very first blog posts and you'll see just how "new" I was with the shots. But if you like, I could show you how I take pictures. :)
