Nowadays, almost every brand of makeup has their own version of the
tinted lip balm. Tinted lip balms are great because they are so easy to
wear, usually very comfortable to the lips, and are slightly sheer so as
not to make one look unnatural. These here, are Maybelline's Color Whispers:
L to R: Pink Possibilities, Rose of Attraction, Pin-up Peach |
Pink Possibilties is a cool toned wearable sheer pink.
Rose of Attraction is a darker, neutral rose color which comes out darker when swatched on my lips.
Pin-Up Peach is a muted coral peach. My favorite of the bunch.
Now I know that they all look similar in the tubing and maybe on the swatches. But I assure you, there is a remarkable difference when swatched on the lips.

Formula: These are very moisturizing. They go on just a little too thick for my liking. Compared to the Revlon Lip Butters, these Color Whispers are somehow less moisturizing though.
Availability: Available anywhere Maybelline is sold. (CVS, Walgreens, Rite-Aid, etc.).
Price: These can be anywhere from $5.50 to almost $9.00. I noticed in my area, it's cheapest in Bed Bath and Beyond ($5.50). The most expensive was almost about $8-9 at CVS.
Overall: These are pretty nice to have and very easy to wear. I do like the color range in Maybelline's line much more than Revlon's line. For example, Peach Parfait could've been the best color for me, but I just hated those gold glitter sparkles. Pin-Up Peach is a great dupe for it without the sparkle.
Do you have any colors? Which one's your favorite?
These look so pretty! I wish they were out in the UK
