Let's Stay Connected, Shall We?

Hi There!
I hope you're having a fine morning. The other night, I had a nightmare GFC (Google Reader) had already gone down and that I had lost nearly half of all my readers. Thankfully, it was just that - a nightmare. Instead, GFC (Google Reader) will close down on July 1st, 2013. The date is set. Are you ready?

If you're reading my posts via Google Reader or the Blogger Feed, then past July 1st, you may not see my posts anymore. To stay connected, you can choose from many different reader feeds such as Pulse, which is ideal if you're not just read blogs, but other news sites and magazines. Then there are others such as Feedly and Flipboard. But my ultimate favorite is Bloglovin.

Bloglovin
Bloglovin is just that - a great reader to read blogs. I especially like how I can organize the blogs I'm reading into categories. It's very easy to use and very simple to import from Google Reader. I've been using it as my primary reader every since I've started. I find that's its much more aesthetically pleasing than the Blogger Feeder (sorry blogger!).

How to Import from Google Reader.
1.) Sign up for bloglovin here. You can either sign in with facebook or with an email address.
2.) Now that you've got your account all set up. You can import your feeds from google reader by going to this page. Simply click "Google Reader" and voila. Welcome to Bloglovin.

While you're at it, if you haven't done so just yet, this here is my bloglovin. ;)

EDIT 6/16/13:
So GFC is not going down, but Google Reader is. Just wanted to clarify some things.

Don't have a blog? Stay connected with bloglovin'!

  1. I think this is just googles way of trying to get everyone to jump on the google plus thing. I did start reading the finer print and yeah, the google reader is going down but for now, gfc stays - at least, that's what the internet said. Lol.

  3. I believe they are different. And oops I made a mistake. It's only google reader going down. Not GFC. False rumours. =.=
