*Insert apology about super-long hiatus here*. I've been procrastinating because I wasn't sure what my 100th post should be about. I think it's quite a milestone since this is my first year blogging. I thought I'd share this really cool post over with Camie @ Wild-Spirit. I'm not sure if it's still going on, but she put together things that make people happy. You can ahead and put your link over there if you decide to add yours too! I found this to be really therapeutic after a long and busy week.
Endless To-Blog-Pile.
I know, I know, where are all my beauty reviews? Well they're on the their way. I'm still working on them. I've got the products from A Night For Green Beauty I'd want to share, as well as a more tags, more tea and more beauty reviews. It just seems like my writing list is endless at this point. Do you ever feel that way sometimes?
Baking.
Anyway, I have to admit, there's been another hobby stealing away my attention. And that's baking. I never really understood the joy of baking until I actually tried baking something by myself for once. It was always with my younger sister or mom. But this time, it was all me. And there really is a sense of joy after seeing that what you made, actually tastes bangin'. So that's where I've been. Maybe I'll share a thing or two. So far I've made danishes, tiramisu and strawberry cheesecakes. The next thing on the list is stuffed mushrooms and white chocolate macadamia cookies.
100th Post Giveaway.
Since this is my 100th post, I was thinking of doing a giveaway. I already have some items I'd like to giveaway. But is there anything in particular, you, my lovely readers, might want? I know my favorite lip balm will be there - because I really want other people to try it. Also, would you rather have smaller prizes and several winners, or one big prize for one person? I'd like to know! Please let me know in the comments!

Congrats on your 100th blog! I love baking so much but I suck at it. Once I got a out of packet cake and didn't put self raising flour in it... so it turned into a giant cookie instead.
ReplyDeletecongrats lynn! :)
ReplyDeleteI love this list, it made me smile! They're all things that make me happy! As is baking! I'd love to see a few baking posts if you have the time =) xx

I love this post. I am such a summer girl that it is really nice to see things like "staying inside on a rainy day" and "hot tea on a chilly autumn morning" on you happy list. It reminds me that there is a lot to look forward to in any season. Thanks for posting!

Omg, I know what you mean! I don't do so well with those premade boxes either. I think (ironically) it takes too much effort. I saw from a friend how much effort it took to make it work, and honestly, preparing it from scratch is actually easier (and less laborious) than the boxes.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Shayne! :D
ReplyDeleteOh I'd love to! Lol, I'm actually making a few white chocolate macadamias today. :)
ReplyDeleteI love this post! I'm definitely going to steal this idea(with credit of course!). I know what you mean about the list of blog posts, I haven't blogged for a while either and now I'm in the process of trying to catch everything up. I love baking too, I find it's a great stress relief and I usually end up baking around midnight or 1 am. People don't understand how much stress it relieves and once I'm done I can go to bed and my family gets to wake up to treats! I've never tried tiramisu, baking or eating. I really want to try making macaroons, though. I'd love to see some of your baking posts!

I'm so glad you enjoyed this post Mariamma! :D
ReplyDeleteSweet! That's an awesome idea! I don't think I have the time though to manage two blogs and make their layouts, etc. So I'll just put them all here. :)
ReplyDeleteOh no problem! I actually got this idea from Camie @ Wild Spirit. And yeah, baking is a lot of fun! You should try making tiramisu - it's surprisingly easy. I followed the back recipe on the back of a Lady Fingers package and it turned out pretty well. And, aww, yeah I'll definitely have some up and link to the recipes I've used.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Emma! I'm so glad I've inspired you. :D
ReplyDeletelove this happy list!
