A Minty Obsession

With the changing of weather and my ever clinging to these last summer days, I've been indulging in the soft minty colors of nail polish. Between my sister and I, I realized we have similar tastes when it comes to nail polish - hence the nail polish triplets. In this review, I'm wearing Banana Republics' nail polish in Sea Green. Mint is a lovely color. Sorry, I just wanted to throw that out there. It's like a subdued elegance, waiting to engage the world. I love simply love it. And Banana Republic makes wearing this color so easy. The formula was really easy to work with. I have to admit, I was a little nervous about trying a brand I wasn't familiar with. But this one was just so fantastic, I had to write about it. The drying time didn't take that long either - about 20 minutes. It lasted me about three days before chipping (without topcoat). Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this post.

  5. "It's like a subdued elegance, waiting to engage the world." LOVE THAT!!

I had no idea Banana Republic made nail polishes. That's such a beautiful color but I gotta be honest: 20 minute drying time is way too long for me, haha....I get impatient with even a 60 second drying time!

  6. I too have been trying to cling on to the last days of summer. (Even though I'm super excited to wear scarves and boots soon!) I love summer fashion and bright colors. This nail polish is so perfect to end the season with :)

  7. Beautiful mint! I'm currently wearing a nude nail polish since I had job interviews lately. My favorite nail polish right now is mint as well! I have one that's more of a pale turquoise by China Glaze. And I put my Seche Vite top coat over it and it dries in like two minutes and because so smooth! Looks like gel. Try it out if you haven't already!

  13. Haha, I know what you mean! I'm definitely clinging onto summer. A part of me though, is trying to prepare for the fall. And I am pretty excited to pull out all the boots again! But ugh, I just hate the cold. -.-

  14. Whoa! Two minutes you say?!?!? I have to try it out. I remember buying fast nail drying drops once and it still took forever to dry. I'll definitely try it out!
