Once in a while, you see something that catches your eye and just screams for you to get a hold of it. One day, I was passing through Whole Foods and encountered this little gem. I put it in my cart and simply could not say no. And by the time I did my finalizing while waiting at the register, I still could not put this adorable tiny thing down. The search for the perfect lip balm has ended. It's a bittersweet feeling because you know you technically don't have an excuse to "trying out" other lip balms. Nowadays, almost every brand of makeup has their own version of the tinted lip balm. Tinted lip balms are great because they are so easy to wear, usually very comfortable to the lips, and are slightly sheer so as not to make one look unnatural. These here, are Maybelline's Color Whispers:

... So one day I was browsing the makeup aisle, once again, and I couldn't help but pick this up. I have a real addiction to trying out lip balms and this one was no different. I especially love tinted lip balms. There's just something so alluring and promising about them that I just have to try it. In this article, I'm reviewing 100% Pure's Fruit Pigmented Lip Butter.  I was drawn to it's title "Fruit Pigmented" and thought, surely this has to be a marketing ploy. But then I sifted through the ingredients list and found that there were no artificial colors in this lip balm. And for that, I really just had to try it. 

My Goin'-to-Work Makeup

I'm a pretty simple person when it comes to everyday work makeup. Usually I only have 5 minutes, if any at all. But if I had to just pick one, it would be my eyeliner and lip balm.

Lorac Pro Eyeliner in Black

This eyeliner is unique in that the brush has the look and feel of a Copic marker (think soft brush marker). Anyhow, I fell in love with it's precision and ease of use. This makes doing any cat eye so easy and so fast. This eyeliner doesn't really fade on me, unless I'm swimming at the beach. (Then I have another eyeliner for that.) It lasts all throughout my shift without giving me raccoon eyes. (I used to have major problems with these with any pencil eyeliner.)
